Debutantes Honored by Toledo City
Council
On May 27, the National Association of Negro
Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, (NANBPWC) Inc,
Toledo Chapter, crowned Miss Debutante 2017, Sara Tait-Trail.
In June, Toledo City Council members honored Tait-Trail and
also her fellow debs: first runner up, Lyricka Robinson
Smith, and second runner up, Destiney Kight.
City Council also recognized the Toledo
Chapter, and particularly former Council President Wilma
Smith for her longtime service as the organizer and driving
force behind the Debutante Cotillion.
