Undertakes A Mass Vaccination Project

Tina Butts
and The Movement branched out and expanded their services to
bring COVID-19 vaccines to hundreds of Toledoans on
Saturday, February 27. The group, founded primarily to get
souls to the polls, took on a different mission and reached
out to Mercy St. Vincent and ProMedica, solicited the help
of Lucas County Commissioner Pete Gerken, used the UAW Hall
on Ashland and gathered together dozens of volunteers to put
500 Pfizer vaccines into arms this past weekend.
The 500
lucky individuals were pre-registered by The Movement and
the hospital organizations donated the Pfizer vaccines.
