HBCU support, health and wellness, the arts, and economic
well-being are among the critical issues impacting the
quality of life of African Americans that will be addressed
over the next two years. President Andrea Price stated: “As
we begin our 112th year, we have partnered with
international, national and local organizations to provide
an impact in our local communities.” This 2020 and 2021
administration’s theme is “Protecting our Legacy, Protecting
our Pearls.”
Price added, “We will continue the legacy of our Founders by
following our sorority documents to minimize risk to our
members and make a meaningful impact on the communities we
serve.”
Our Founders’ Day celebration will occur on Saturday,
February 29, 2020, at 12 noon at Heather Downs Country Club.
Tickets are $45 can be purchased through PayPal (www.zetaalphaomega.com)
on the chapter website until February 15, 2020. The theme is
“Black Girls Rock and Exemplify Excellence.”

The public is invited to join the AKAs for an aerobic
fitness party at Keyser Elementary School from 6 p.m. to 8
p.m. Donations are accepted.
