NASCAR, which has more devoted followers than Taylor
Swift and Dolly Parton combined, has announced to the
mouth-dropping racing world that no more will they be
welcomed if they accompanied by their Confederate flags and
similar memorabilia.
Thar is a new day in da South and the white boy is not
happy…no sirree, he and she is not a happy camper!
Thar world just up ended with this news. Imagine all
of the planning that they have gone through being shut down
at home due to this COVID-19 pandemic and they was a’
thinking that when this “hoax” blows over, they were gonna
dust off that Ol’ Glory Flag and yip it up!
Well, there’s a change a coming and it ain’t good for
all the proud Bubbas who nigh practically worship Ol’ Glory
when it billows in the wind.
For them, Ol Glory is a proud reminder that they are
somebody and with that Bars and Stars of a flag, they can
thumb it in the eyes of those still proud Yankees who beat
the heebee geebees out of ol Robert E. Lee and his
humiliating surrender at Appomattox.
Naw, the South is still smarting over that loss, the
loss in which they were in rebellion against the union and
were willing to kill their fellow kin in order to keep black
folks in slavery and penury.
Never forget (as Bubba has) that the Civil War was
fought over the issue of slavery and if the South had won
the war, they would have gleefully opted to keep black
people in perpetual bondage.
That old canard that Ol’ Glory is just a reminder of
their southern roots is pure hokum. Just as is their fake
cry about not tearing down all of those confederate
monuments which epitomizes the good ol’ days of Massa
keeping his knee on the throats of his happy and contented
slaves.
What ya see here is history righting itself and
beginning to tell its own story of the real South and the
current Bubbas who want to keep Mammy in her place which is
tending to their kitchens and at night time, to their beds.
Oh, there is plenty of tears and moans and groans in
Jacksonville, Selma, Houston, New Orleans, Stone Mountain,
Louisville, Mississippi Delta and everywhere else where
white Bubbas are witnessing a cultural shift that they were
totally unprepared for.
Why, even their major supporter and sympathizer who
sits in the White House tweeting away, could not save them
from this fate, a fate worse than death!
I mean, who ever heard of a NASCAR event not being bathed in
the colors of Ol’ Glory?
This tsunami of a cultural shift equals George Wallace
standing in the doorway of the University of Alabama and
denying entry to black students with the phrase,
“Segregation now and segregation forever!”
This is on the same bandwidth of white folks setting up
hundreds of “private schools” when the famous Brown v.
Topeka Board of Education ruling came out stating that all
American kids, black and white, should sit together in the
same class room.
The reaction to this NASCAR shocker edict is almost as
if the public caught Herr Trump smooching with low IQ Maxine
Waters in the back seat of a Ford 150 pick-up truck!
People, this is big. Big…big! I can only hope that Mr.
Bubba Wallace, the only full time black NASCAR racer on the
circuit has body guards because it was his protest in the
light of the public murder of George Floyd that caused the
powers that be at NASCAR to find religion and do the right
thing.
White folks are in a tizzy about this fiat from
NASCAR. They are kicking up a fuss threatening to boycott
all NASCAR events and their product lines. They will
probably tweet that society as they know it, is ending due
to the complaints of black folks about Ol’ Glory.
Come to think of it, their reaction about Ol’ Glory
being rightfully relegated to museums and the garbage dump
is akin to what Herr Trump was thinking about when he
started foaming at the mouth about never changing the names
of the ten military bases that bear the names of traitorous
southern generals who were in rebellion against the union.
Herr Trump said, “Never!” because those base names were
a great American tradition and heritage…Yeah, the heritage
of a mindset and belief system that wanted slavery at all
costs to remain, even if it meant a costly Civil War.
That is how desperate the South was to keep black
folks in chains and in dire poverty. They would go to war
and kill each other so they could keep their knee on the
necks of black men and women. Go figure.
