A Ride for Justice
In support of the National Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers MC,
the Toledo Buffalo Soldiers hosted a “Ride For Justice”
motorcycle ride this past Sunday June 14. The ride began at
10 a.m. after a blessing by Pastor Randall Parker and the
Toledo Buffalo Soldiers along with individuals and club
members from various area clubs rode from Toledo to Napoleon
Harley-Davidson in Napoleon, OH.
The ride was meant to show solidarity in the community for
justice reform. This was not a protest, emphasized the
organizers, simply a show of support for reform in the
justice system.
Many of the Buffalo Soldiers are ex or current law
enforcement officers, and the national organization was
founded by a Chicago police officer.
Riders received a free
breakfast provided by Off The Rails food trolley that
morning at the staging location.
Earl Mack, TBS president, and Fred LeFebvre, public
information officer for TBS, served as the primary
organizers. The TBS members were joined by several dozen
guests.
