Traditional Holiday Photos

I don’t want to end this holiday photo series without taking
a look at traditional, in-studio holiday photos.
For centuries, there have only been two colors associated
with Christmas; green and red, and most photos were
traditionally taken in front of a Christmas tree while
dressed in traditional holiday attire.
These days, we are not bound by traditions and choose to
take holiday photos in ways that express our unique style
and personality. There are no limits to the colors we
incorporate when choosing our outfits, or holiday décor, and
we no longer restrict ourselves to in-studio sessions.
However, traditional holiday photos will never grow old so
what better way to showcase festive, holiday fashion than
with a photo shoot dressed in deep scarlet reds, surrounded
by emerald greens and gold, against a stark white backdrop.
Meet Larisa Burton, Artist/Founder of “Art by Larisa 4 You”
and her four-year-old daughter Liv.
Photos, in general, represent how our family has grown over
the years so why not make holiday photos a part of your
family tradition?
Larisa says, “As I’ve gotten older, the things I want for
the holidays can’t be bought. Having my own little family
now, I enjoy keeping family traditions alive and keeping the
true meaning of Christmas in my heart, God and family.”
