Blanche Hogue Celebrates Her 100th Birthday

Surrounded by family and
friends, Blanche Hogue celebrated her 100th
birthday this past weekend at the Radisson Hotel. The
centenarian was born June 14, 2015 in Overthrop, GA.
She married JB Hogue in
1939 and in 1945 the couple moved to Toledo. They had three
sons – Clarence, Johnnie B and Ronnie Hogue. JB passed away
at the tender age of 96.
Blanche has five
grandchildren – Joseph Austin, Corey Hogue, Lamarr Hogue,
Christie Hogue and Ja’Nae Hogue. In addition she has 11
great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Blanche Hogue is a member
of longstanding of Friendship Baptist Church – the second
oldest mother there. She has devoted her life to giving to
others and being the cornerstone of her family, says son
Ronnie.
