Who’s New in Town? Welcome Eric Williams!
Eric Williams, who arrived
in town from Florida three months ago to assume the position
of executive director at the Wayman Palmer YMCA is clearly
excited by the opportunities his new job presents.
“We are looking to go back
to a more full-service organization,” he says noting that
recently the services offered by the Wayman Palmer Y have
been limited to child care. Those services are certainly
extensive, however. The Y is a licensed child care facility
and, on a typical day, has between 75 and 85 young clients
in the building – pre-schoolers, after schoolers – and is
open for business until 11:00 p.m. for parents who work the
second shift.
