Ebenezer MBC’s 64th Annual Women’s Day

“Doing the Things That Are
Needful” was the theme of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist
Church’s 64th Annual Women’s Day held on Sunday
May 21. The women in the congregation gathered adorned in
white and yellow to celebrate the occasion.
The morning service began
with a devotion offered by Shirley Oliver of St. Mark’s MBC
and Mother Curlie Hankins, Tine Dunn and Margarette Dean.
The conductress of service
was Evangelist Debra Everett. After musical selections, a
benevolent offering and words of encouragement from Hankins,
the speaker, Jean Lark of Union Grove Missionary Baptist
Church spoke to the day’s theme.
The 4:00 p.m. service
speaker was Minister Brenda McFall of The Armory Church.
Elder J.L. Jordan is the
pastor of Ebenezer. Tammy Mays served as chairman of the
Women’s Day Committee and Eunice Davis as co-chairman. The
Program Committee was comprised of Tammi Calhoun, Sharon
Graham, Tammy Mickels and Debra Everett. The Finance
Committee members are Mary Ballard, Delorse Johnson, Mary
Sumrow and Vera Sanders.
