Family, Friends and Neighbors Join Mitchell Grad Celebration

Dozens of family members, educators, and friends gathered on
June 11, 2016 to celebrate the commencements of
Amber and Autumn Mitchell, the high-achieving daughters of
Veronica and Artie Mitchell II. The hall was decorated in
silver, black and gold; the event also featured a live DJ,
candy table and personalized centerpieces.
Guests dined on a scrumptious soul food dinner and the
highlight of the gathering was a recognition by the
graduates of those who were of such help in their success
along the way. Chief among those the Mitchell sisters
thanked was their late grandmother, Margaret O’Neal, who
passed away in 2010. Granny O’Neal was their biggest
cheerleader.
“This night is about honoring my beautiful, God-fearing
daughters, Amber and Autumn Mitchell. This woman right here,
my wife, brings out the best in me. I give glory to God,
because she provides the best example for our daughters,”
said the proud father, Artie Mitchell II.
