Lucas County Children Services Hosts Campaign Events for
Upcoming Levy
On Tuesday, September 13
and Thursday, September 15, supporters of Lucas County
Children Services and the upcoming levy request hosted
fundraising events – on Tuesday at Our Brothers Place and on
Thursday at Pam’s Corner.
LCCS is asking Lucas
County to approve a renewal of the current 1.4 mill levy in
addition to a 0.4 increase. The agency which works with
children in distressed circumstance, in foster care and
those seeking adoption has been deluged with additional
children in its care over the last two years – partly due to
the heroin and opiate epidemic.

Mitchell organized the Our Brothers Place event and Deborah
Barnett hosted the 10 Women event at Pam’s Corner.
