Family and Friends Help Doris Abram Celebrate Her 80th
Sojourner’s Truth Staff
Family and friends of
Doris Abram packed the field house of Walbridge Park on
Saturday, November 26 to help the octogenarian celebrate her
birthday and eight decades of life.
Abram, a native of
Beckley, West Virginia, came to Toledo with former husband
Ed and worked for decades as a registered nurse while also
raising five children. All five children, along with a
number of grandchildren and dozens of other relatives, were
present on Saturday at the birthday celebration.
Guests dined on a buffet
luncheon provided by caterer Curlie Hankins and enjoyed
music by DJ Don Cranon.
