Local 500 Honors Retirees with Dinner, Dance and Dramatics
For the 28th
years, Laborers Local 500 and Business Manager David
Fleetwood honored its retirees with a gala event on October
28 at the Gesu Sullivan Center. Dinner, gift cards and the
Dramatics were part of the gala celebration.
Local 500 was formed in
1919 and now represents over 1,300 men and women working in
the building trades construction industry.
This year approximately
160 retirees and their families attended the annual event
and were joined by local elected officials and community
leaders.
