ALL NEW OR INCREASED DONATIONS TO THE NORTHWEST OHIO
SCHOLARSHIP FUND WILL BE MATCHED UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2016
Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund (NOSF) announced last week
that if you make a gift to NOSF before December 31, 2016
it will be matched. Any new or increased gift from last
year qualifies. As a tribute to one of the founders,
Richard LaValley, Sr., who passed away in fall of 2015, the
LaValley Foundation is challenging the community to make an
investment to the Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund with a
generous gift that will make an impact on the life of a
child.
This school year over 600 need-based scholarships were
awarded to students to attend a private school for grades
K-8 or for homeschool expenses. NOSF is the only privately
funded scholarship program for kindergarten through the 8th
grade in NW Ohio.
The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund provides scholarships up
to $1,500 per student to attend a private school in 19
Northwest Ohio Counties including Allen, Crawford, Defiance,
Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa,
Paulding, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert,
Williams, Wood and Wyandot.
