Kent Branch Library Celebrates 100 Years of Service

Join us as we recognize 100 years of library service to the historic Kent Neighborhood!

Kent Branch Library opened December 11, 1917 and was the result of a collaboration between the Toledo Public Library, the City of Toledo and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie.

The branch was named in honor of Eliza M. Kent, the first manager of the Children's Department at Main Library. You're invited to help us celebrate with light refreshments, a journey through Kent’s history, and a tour of the modern-day Library.

Thursday, October 19 / 10 a.m.
Kent Branch Library
3101 Collingwood Blvd.
