Motown Dinner & Dance Cruise Fundraiser

Special to The Truth

On a perfect sunny evening the 8th Annual Motown Dinner & Dance Cruise Fundraiser was held on Friday, July 13, 2018 on the famous Detroit Princess Riverboat Cruise hosted by Donnetta M. Carter of Adventurous Travels.

There were over 100 guests in attendance enjoying the festivities, included live entertainment by Detroit's own Prolifics and a dinner menu of prime roast, baked chicken,  baked fish, green beans, scalloped potatoes, fettuccine, garden salad, vegetable lasagna and pound cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

This year’s fundraising recipient was Toledo's PET Bull Project. Executive Director Cindy Reinsel Executive was presented a donation of $650.00 for the non-profit organization. Their mission is to prevent mistreatment of, educate and train pets. Also, Toledo's PET Bull Project trains pet owners and their dogs to become good advocates for their breed. TheToledo's PET Bull Project is committed to preventing animal cruelty and dog fighting. For more information visit their website http://www.toledospetbullproject.com/
