Library Brings African-American Authors to Toledo!

By Rhonda B. Sewell, Library Governmental Affairs and Media Strategist
The Truth Contributor

Where else can you see your favorite African-American authors up close and personal?

This year, the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library has some spectacular authors in store for the local community that you can see and hear for free or for a nominal fee. Our Authors! Authors! series, presented in partnership with The Blade, has welcomed some of the biggest names, straight off the bestsellers lists for more than two decades. And, our newer series Open Book, where authors tell their stories, is sponsored by the Library Legacy Foundation and features authors covering a variety of genres.

Bryan Stevenson
