This year’s
program featured guest speaker Schylbea Jean Hopkins, a
long-time AKA member and the 26th Great Lakes
Regional Director of the sorority.
Angeline
Murry, Founders’ Day chairman, served as mistress of
ceremonies for this year’s program and attendees were
welcomed by Felicia Dunston, president of Zeta Alpha Omega –
the graduate chapter. Greetings were offered by Amani Brown,
president f the Alpha Lambda Chapter of UT and by Tiffani
Smith, president of the Iota Iota Chapter of Bowling Green
State University.
Solos were
offered by Marcia Bowen-Jones.
Along with
Murry, Debra Fulton, DDS, served as co-chairman of the
Founders’ Day committee and other members were: Elinor
