Ashford’s Annual Backyard Picnic
Brings out Friends and Supporters
State Rep. Michael Ashford hosts an annual
cookout at his home on Collingwood Avenue for friends and
supporters during the summer. On Saturday, July 16 more than
70 guests joined the Ashford and his wife Ruth for a feast
of grilled burgers, hot dogs and baked beans flavored with
just a few minutes of political chatter by Ashford and Lucas
County Commissioner Pete Gerken.
