Board
Toledo lawmaker will examine
ways to support sound energy policies

State Rep.
Michael Ashford (D-Toledo) last week was appointed to the
Ohio Power Siting Board. Ashford, along with Representative
Christina Hagan (R-), Senators Bill Seitz (R-Cincinnati) and
Sandra Williams (D-Cleveland) will consider ways to update
and amend Ohio’s diverse and robust energy portfolio.
“I'm honored
to serve as a member of the Ohio Power Siting Board,” said
Ashford. “As we work to ensure our state’s energy policies
remain diverse and consistent for all Ohioans, I look
forward to the opportunity to lend my voice on behalf of
marginalized and traditionally disenfranchised communities
who in the past have had no input in the original drafting
of our energy policies.” |
