Sunday, January 20
The Lourdes University Lifelong Learning program presents
the lecture “Healing the Hate: Can We All Get Along in a
Post Obama, Donald Trump World?” with Dale Lanigan, PhD,
Lourdes University Chair of Sociology and Criminal Justice;
and Thomas Estrella, Lourdes University Associate Professor
of Psychology. Sparks are sure to fly when Lanigan’s
progressive perspective meets Professor Estrella’s
libertarian views. The lecture is at 10 a.m. with
refreshments offered at 9:15 a.m. Free for members and
first-time visitors.
The Lifelong Learning Hot Topic is “Technology: Stimulus
or Detractor of Learning?” featuring Mary Ann Gawelek,
PhD, president of Lourdes University. The event runs from
11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. $10 for members and $15 for
non-members. Reservations are strongly encouraged at least
one week prior.
