More Banking Options Available as First Federal Bank Opens New Cherry St. Location.

First Federal Bank is pleased to announce the opening of their 35th location within Seaway Marketplace, at 1707 Cherry St., Toledo, OH. First Federal Bank’s full-service branch is open Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

“We are eager to expand our footprint in the Toledo community. We see Toledo as a vibrant community that supports our strategic efforts in stimulating the economy, improving homeownership and providing banking services to the underserved,” said Tim Harris, Market Area President at First Federal Bank. “Our partnership with Seaway Marketplace was a natural fit and we were impressed with this full-service grocery store that recently added a pharmacy to bring convenience to their customers.”

With the new branch, First Federal Bank has added four new positions. Eunice Glover will lead the branch as Community Banking Center Manager, Sharmila Caldwell will serve as Community Banking Center Assistant Manager, Kristi Jackson and Alysha Amison will serve as Customer Service Representatives. In addition, staff from First Federal Bank’s wealth management, business and mortgage teams and insurance agents from First Insurance Group will support customers’ needs. Additional staff may be added as the office continues to grow.

A formal ribbon cutting ceremony along with grand opening events will be held mid-February. Information regarding these events will be published on the bank’s website at First-Fed.com and on their Facebook page www.facebook.com/1stFederalBank.
