Improv Troupe to Appear at 20 North Gallery

Special to The Truth

The nation's most exciting improv troupe is on tour and coming to Toledo! Damaged Goods Improv is bringing their fantastic and energetic form of improv comedy to 20 North Gallery for one weekend only. Come out for award-winning improv comedy and a down right good time! Damaged Goods member, Stefan Gearhart, makes his hometown debut as he returns to Toledo with the team to perform.

Based out of Louisville, Kentucky, Damaged Goods has quickly become The River City’s premiere and most sought after improv comedy troupe. Since their inception, they have taken their special and unique brand of high energy short form improv games and managed to become a recognizable name in Louisville’s soaring and vibrant arts scene.

Voted by LEO Readers as one of the "Best Comedians" and "Best Performing Arts Groups" in Louisville in 2011, Damaged Goods has spent the last few years thrilling audiences from San Francisco to Chicago and even to Toronto!

Often called "The Nation’s Most Exciting Improv Troupe," Damaged Goods' unique style of high energy improv games continues to leave audiences begging for more in Louisville and many other places in North America. They've performed for five years in a row at the Chicago Improv Festival in Chicago, IL and the Detroit Improv Festival in Detroit, MI.

They've performed as headliners at the Compass Improv Festival in St. Louis, MO, and have also been seen at the Big Little Comedy Festival in Cleveland, OH, The San Francisco Improv Festival in San Francisco, CA, The Big City Improv Festival in Toronto, ON Canada, the IFCincy Festival in Cincinnati, OH, The Pittsburgh Comedy Festival in Pittsburgh, PA, The Bongo Java Comedy Theater in Nashville, TN, The Laugh Out Loud Theater in Chicago to high praise, and other great theaters and comedy clubs across the country!

The Damaged Goods boys are also the hosts of the highly successful comedic Podcast, The Dam Good Podcast, found on iTunes and Stitcher.

Damaged Goods will be performing theatrical improv comedy much like TV's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" They take suggestions from the audience and play short form improvised scenes and games based on these suggestions. There will be drinks and cocktails available at the bar as well as light hors d'oeuvres. The show is rated PG-13 but can get a little more adult oriented depending on the audience. So parental guidance is suggested.

Damaged Goods will be performing April 21 and April 22.  No two shows are alike as it is all improvised and created on the spot.  So both shows will be very different but will both be very funny.  Tickets are general admission and are $20 a ticket.  Tickets can be purchased at the door or ahead of time at https://damaged-goods.ticketleap.com/damgoodtourtoledo/ .
