Henry and Mildred Clark Celebrate 58 Years of Marriage
On August 8, 2015, dozens
of guests joined Henry and Mildred Clark at the Ghana Center
in Holland, OH as the couple celebrated 58 years of marriage
by renewing their vows and “jumping the broom.”
Henry, a graduate of
Woodward High School, and Mildred, a graduate of Scott High
School and Isaac Lane College in Tennessee, were wed in
August 1957 at Phillips Temple CME Church. The couple had
two children – Henry, Jr (1958) and Kenneth (1960).
Henry retired in 1982 from
his position as a millwright at the BP Refinery and Mildred
retired from her teaching position with Toledo Public
Schools.

Furr Hoffman served as the master and mistress of ceremonies
for the event which included gospel music, a community award
presentation, a raffle, dining and dancing.
