Toledo Museum of Art’s Block Party
Hundreds of people
gathered for the Toledo Museum of Art Block Party on
Saturday, June 18. Food trucks lined Monroe Street in front
of the museum and visitors were able to snack on everything
from sandwich wraps and hot dogs.
Music played throughout
the event along with acrobatic performances by Bird’s Eye
View Circus.
Early in the evening,
giant puppets crafted by students from the Toledo School for
the Arts floated around the venue engaging the audience.
Giant human art sculptures titled Jume Plensa: Human
Landscape decorated the museum grounds.
Crowd pleasing
performances were offered by JP Dynasty & Naah and Aha
Indian Dance.
