The YMCA Fatherhood
Initiative in partnership with the City of Toledo and Lucas
County Jobs and Family Services are working together to
support, educate and recognize the impact of fathers on the
family. “A Celebration of Fatherhood” event will be
held to promote the connection of fathers with community
resources and to encourage positive parenting in the
father-child interaction. Males of all ages who are involved
in the lives of children are invited to attend this
gathering; please do not bring children. The event is
Saturday, June 25, 2016, from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM. It will
take place at The University of Toledo, in Nitschke Hall at
1610 N. Westwood Ave., Toledo, OH 43607.

program in his life.

their own life and the lives of the children they are
involved in. Whether you are known as Father, Grandfather,
Uncle, Poppy, Daddy, Pops or other male role model, you are
invited to attend A Celebration of Fatherhood.
